Yes — GrowthKit is free to download on the App Store. You can add child profiles, log measurements, view WHO percentile charts, and access the full growth history at no cost.

What growth standards does GrowthKit use?

GrowthKit uses WHO Child Growth Standards for children from birth to age 10, and CDC reference data for BMI-for-age and height-for-age for older children. These are the same reference datasets used by pediatricians globally. The calculations use the official LMS (Lambda-Mu-Sigma) Box-Cox method — the same math your doctor's software uses.

Is my child's data safe and private?

Completely. All data is stored locally on your iPhone in the app's private document directory. Nothing is sent to any server. GrowthKit has no account system, collects no analytics on your child's data, and has no access to your health information. Your data is yours alone.

Can I track multiple children?

Yes. GrowthKit supports unlimited profiles — children and adults. Each profile has its own photo, name, birth date, and complete independent measurement history. You can switch between profiles instantly from any screen.

Can I share the data with my pediatrician?

Yes. Tap the export button from any profile to generate a doctor-ready PDF report. It includes the child's complete measurement history, embedded WHO percentile charts, BMI trend, and growth velocity summary. Share it via email, AirDrop, or print directly from your iPhone.

Does GrowthKit work offline?

Yes, GrowthKit works completely offline. All calculations — percentile charts, BMI, growth velocity — are computed on-device. You don't need an internet connection to log measurements, view charts, or generate PDF reports.
