What is the difference between phone line monitoring and cellular monitoring? Do I need a phone line to have a security system installed?

Home phone lines are becoming antiquated and becoming a thing of the past as well as unreliable. The security system relies on the communicator to contact the central monitoring center. The cell communicator eliminates phone lines being cut by intruders. A cell communicator is faster and more reliable and depending on which one you choose it can give you the ability to use your system remotely from an app.

What does an alarm system consist of?

The typical Guardian Security System consists of protection on all exterior doors and windows. Interior motion detection and a main panel/keypad from which you arm and disarm your system. Of course, we gladly show you how to use these as well.

Does the alarm work when the power is out?

Yes, all alarm systems include a battery backup in case of power outages.

Why do I need monitoring services? Wont the siren be enough protection?
