What is Harmny and what does it replace?

Harmny is a performance management platform that consolidates reviews, OKR tracking, competency frameworks, 1:1 meetings, and career development into one tool. It's designed for mid-size tech teams (50 to 2,000 employees) who've outgrown spreadsheets and disconnected HR tools but aren't ready for heavyweight enterprise software like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.

How is Harmny different from BambooHR, Lattice, or 15Five?

The biggest difference is that Harmny ties competency frameworks directly into reviews and career paths. There's no gap between where you stand and how to grow. On top of that, it layers in a gamification engine (stars, badges, challenges, and redeemable rewards) that keeps engagement high between review cycles. Most HR tools stop at data collection. Harmny was built to change behavior.

Who actually uses Harmny day to day?

Three groups: HR leaders who configure review cycles and track org-wide analytics, managers who run 1:1s and rate their direct reports against competency frameworks, and employees who track their own goals, view their career ladder, and earn recognition. The heaviest daily users tend to be engineering managers and people ops teams at companies between 100 and 500 people.

How long does it take to get a first review cycle running?

Under a day for most teams. You can import your org chart, set up a competency framework, configure your first evaluation cycle, and send invites in about 10 minutes. The longer part is deciding on your competency criteria, and we include templates to speed that up. Onboarding support is included on every plan.

Is there a free trial, and what does it include?

Yes. 14 days, no credit card required, full access to every feature including performance reviews, OKRs, 1:1s, and people analytics. If you decide not to continue, your workspace stays in read-only mode for 30 days so you never lose data.

How does Harmny handle data security and compliance?

Harmny encrypts data with TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest. We are aligned with GDPR and CCPA practices, with documented sub-processors and a Data Processing Agreement available on request for paid plans. Starter costs $8 per user per month ($6.40 billed annually) for teams up to 50. Growth is $16 per user per month ($12.80 annually) and includes 360 feedback, gamification, time off, attendance, and people analytics. Enterprise pricing is custom and adds SSO, SCIM, and a dedicated success manager. All plans include a 14-day free trial.

Can Harmny integrate with Google Calendar, Search Console, Slack, or our HRIS?

Google Calendar sync is built in for 1:1 meetings and review cycle deadlines. Google Search Console and Yandex Metrica both connect to the Tasks app's report builder so you can stream organic-search and web-analytics data — sessions, clicks, impressions, CTR, bounce rate, and more — into client-facing reports, with 90-day backfills and daily syncs. Slack notifications are on the roadmap. For HRIS integrations (BambooHR, Rippling, or custom systems), Enterprise customers get custom integration support.
