Hashrate Index is a business whose own site puts it this way: "Bitcoin mining data, metrics, and analysis for bitcoin miners to unlock a better understanding of hashrate and the bitcoin mining market." To AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity it is partially visible, scoring 6.9 out of 10, readable in places and missing in others.

On the page itself the strengths are clear: a clear heading structure, a clearly stated business identity, crawler access and the files AI engines look for and sitemaps and entity links AI can follow. It is passable on some structured data. What holds it back is credibility markers like credentials or reviews.

Away from its own site, other sites link to it, it turns up in press coverage and it comes up on Reddit. There is some, but not much, sign that the domain is only lightly established and there is little discussion of it. Beyond that, AI engines do not yet recognise it as a distinct business.

AI crawlers have visited once in our tracking, including ClaudeBot (Anthropic). The site links to no social profiles, so there is nothing tying the brand to a wider presence.
