Wait, Hoverpost is free? What's the catch?

There's no catch, it really is free. Every year I build a new tool to practice new skills. Sometimes they are paid, sometimes they are free like this one. The success of my other projects (like SendView) help cover the small cost of running this and my other free tools.

What else do I need to do besides add my link to descriptions / show notes?

Nothing! It really is that simple. However, if you want to increase the number of email subscribers you get you may want to consider doing in-episode promotions with call outs in your script or, on YouTube, using cards and end screens to promote your email subscription link.

What if I want to do more advanced marketing with my list?

You can easily export your lists at any time and use them on other email marketing tools to do other types of email marketing such as promoting the launch of a product. That's the beauty of email marketing: you own your list and can take it wherever you need it.

Do I need set up domain records, templates, etc. like traditional email platforms?

Nope, we handle everything else so you can focus on creating great content. We are constantly testing our templates and forms, making changing to improve performance, cleaning lists, checking for spammy emails, etc. behind the scenes.

How soon after I upload will my subscribers get notified?

Emails will typically be sent within an hour of when you upload.
