The Hugh & Sandra Davidson Trust (HSDT) is an entrepreneurial, self funding, not for profit entity. It is operated by a team of six experienced volunteers with a wide range of skills all of whom have conducted fieldwork internationally on HSDT programmes.

The Trust initially focused on direct involvement in time limited projects, designed to dramatically lift the influence, income and prospects of women and girls. Through these we gained twelve years of valuable experience of the International Development sector, including conducting forensic fieldwork and investing heavily in measurement. Now, building on this, our approach is to work with like-minded partners to change attitudes and behaviours, especially of funders, in order to reform the sector, through our #RID programme
