A+ HVAC and Refrigeration — Expert HVAC & Refrigeration in Illinois

What is your service call or diagnostic fee? Is that fee applied toward the cost of the repair?

The initial diagnostic fee is $79 for residential service and $149 for commercial service. This fee is always waived and applied toward the cost of the final repair if you choose to hire us for the service.

How is the price of the repair determined, and do you charge by the hour?

We operate on a fixed-price per repair model and do not charge an hourly rate. We provide a straightforward, upfront price for the total job — labor and parts — before any work begins. Most repairs involve a labor cost of around $245, plus any necessary parts.

Do you service window AC units or mini-splits?

Our air conditioning service covers central, ducted, and commercial systems only. We do not service window units or mini-split systems.

Do you provide same-day or emergency service?

Yes, we prioritize fast service and can often send a technician to your doorstep for repairs on the same day or the next day.

How long will the technician take to arrive or complete the repair?

The majority of repairs are completed efficiently on the same day as the service call. If a specialized, non-stock part is required, the repair is usually completed the next day after the part arrives.
