What is Ideallion?

Ideallion is a small invention studio based in Bryan, Texas. We develop original commercial products and help inventors and operators evaluate, protect, and build ideas into viable businesses. Our work spans hardware invention, patent strategy, software-based decision intelligence, and early-stage product development.

Who founded Ideallion?

Ideallion was founded by Jeff Byington, an inventor and operator with four decades of enterprise experience. Jeff works alongside trusted collaborators on a project-by-project basis, including a 50-year IBM electrical engineer who co-invented BreadCubes.

Where is Ideallion located?

Ideallion Inc. is based in Bryan, Texas. We work with clients, partners, and manufacturing facilities regionally and nationally. The studio is small by design.

How many people work at Ideallion?

Ideallion is a small studio. We work with a small circle of careful professionals on a project-by-project basis: a patent attorney we have trusted since 2003, a precision manufacturer in Connecticut, and engineers who have spent decades earning their opinions.

What is F2P?

F2P is a precision flow-meter augmentation device developed by Ideallion. It sits between an industrial flow meter and the operator who needs to read it, capturing gallon pulses, monitoring current, displaying flow data, time-stamping transactions, and printing receipts. The original F2P-100 shipped to two enterprise customers in industrial measurement in 2017, forty units total.

What is F2P-200?

F2P-200 is the next-generation successor to F2P-100, designed for the technology landscape of the 2020s. It is a connected device by default: every transaction syncs to the cloud in real time, firmware updates arrive over-the-air, and configuration happens from a phone. Existing F2P-100 customers can upgrade with no rewiring and no retraining. F2P-200 is in active development with selected pilot partners.

Who are F2P customers?

F2P serves industrial operations in fuel distribution, fleet refueling, bulk chemical transport, and tank-farm operations. Initial deployments were with operations in the Texas Gulf Coast region.

What is BreadCubes?

BreadCubes is a patent-pending modular reinvention of the solderless breadboard. Instead of one fixed-size board, BreadCubes are interlocking modules, mechanically and electrically, so engineers and students can build prototyping surfaces the exact shape of the circuit in front of them.
