Are there platform fees for renters?

No — IPbnb charges zero platform fees to lessees. Renters pay only the owner's listed price. Owners pay a transparent fee that's disclosed upfront. This keeps renter costs predictable and competitive with direct market rates.

How do you verify that IPs are clean?

Every IPv4 block listed on IPbnb is checked against major reputation databases including Spamhaus, CBL, Barracuda, SORBS, and others before going live. We also review WHOIS history and prior abuse reports. After listing, automated monitoring runs 24/7. Clean means: not on active blacklists, no unresolved abuse complaints, and safe to use for business traffic including email.

How fast can I go live after signing a lease?

Most IPv4 leases on IPbnb activate within 24 hours of signed contract and KYC clearance. You receive the signed LOA (Letter of Authorization), RPKI/IRR records configured for your ASN, and routing guidance so upstream networks accept your BGP announcements fast. Complex transfers involving multiple RIRs can take 3–5 business days.

How long is a typical IPv4 lease contract?

IPv4 leases on IPbnb start with a 1-month minimum. After the first month, billing switches to a daily model — a fixed daily amount is deducted from your balance, and you can cancel with just 1 day's notice. For predictable long-term needs, we also offer fixed contracts of 1+ year with locked-in pricing.

What happens when an IPv4 lease ends?

When you decide to end a lease, you give 1-day notice and stop announcing the block via BGP on the disconnect date. IPbnb revokes the LOA, suspends RPKI/IRR records, and the block returns to the holder. Daily billing stops at the disconnect date — you pay only for the days you used.

Is leasing safe for IP owners? Can I lose my addresses?

Leasing never transfers ownership. Your blocks remain registered to you in RIR databases (WHOIS). The LOA grants temporary announcement rights only — when the lease ends, the renter must withdraw their BGP announcement. You retain full control: delist between leases, set your own price, and approve use cases.

What RIRs does IPbnb support?

IPbnb is currently live with RIPE NCC region covering Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. ARIN (North America) and APNIC (Asia-Pacific) are on the near-term roadmap. LACNIC and AFRINIC support is planned for future phases.

Can I customize rDNS (PTR records) and geolocation?

Yes. Every IPv4 lease includes full rDNS control — set custom PTR records through the dashboard or API for email deliverability and service identification. For geolocation, we provide tools to submit corrections to major databases (MaxMind, IP2Location, and others) to ensure correct country and region mapping.
