AI Visibility Scorecard

Borderline visible. AI bots can crawl Research Navigator, but the structured-data signals are thin - you are at real risk of being skipped when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

from our crawl and measurement
Research Navigator is a business whose own site puts it this way: "Part of my role is to help you see this in a way that helps you use your wisdom, consciously.Try the tool below, The Yes Filter: An opportunity arrives, a request is made: should you say." To AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, though, it is barely visible: it scores 4.0 out of 10.
Our crawl found a readable heading structure. It is missing structured data describing the business, an llms.txt file and a sitemap.

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 4/10, Research Navigator is crawlable but under-signaled - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
Is Research Navigator for you?
This is for you if one or more of the following apply to you:You're already doing good, solid work — and you're ready to make sure the right people actually notice it.You're committed, leading projects, supervising others, contributing ideas — and you'd rather build that skill deliberately than wing it under pressure. You've realised that research careers depend on more than technical ability.
I'm already a postdoc or research fellow. Is it too basic?
No. Research Navigator is designed particularly for early- and mid-career researchers. This is often the stage when you are building your reputation more widely, taking on greater responsibility and developing collaborations that may shape your future career. The membership helps you strengthen professional judgement and discernment as you build the evidence of your competence, credibility and contribution.
I'm already a lecturer, PI or leading a team. Is this for me?
Yes. Research Navigator also includes resources for established researchers and leaders, and that part of the Library is continuing to grow. Some of the feedback I hear most often from experienced leaders is that the most useful insights are not always the obvious ones.
Is this career advice?
Not in the sense of telling you what you should do with your career.Research Navigator is designed to help you develop the judgement to make better decisions for yourself. That means understanding the territory, recognising the factors that matter and weighing your options more consciously.Sometimes you may be deciding whether to pursue an opportunity.
Do I need to work through things in order?
No. Everything is open from day one. Follow a Roadmap start to finish, or open exactly the lesson that speaks to where you are right now.
