Does Acupuncture hurt?

Everyone feels acupuncture differently. Some points cause little or no sensation, while others may feel like a quick pinch, a dull ache, or even relief—like your body saying, ‘thank you’. I also offer gentle, non-needle options such as acupressure, meridian massage, or press-tacs (painless acupuncture stickers). My approach is always mindful, responsive, and adapted to your comfort.

How do you keep everyone safe, especially during contagious illness?

I wear a mask at every session as a universal precaution. There have been zero in-office transmissions since the beginning of the pandemic. For patients with acute infections, I follow enhanced safety protocols. This includes hospital-grade PPE and industrial-grade air filtration, so hands-on care can be provided safely while supporting recovery, immunity, and comfort.
