How far in advance can I rent?

You can reserve a storage unit 3-7 days in advance, depending on availability at the store. If we're all booked up on the day you need, don't worry! Just hop online and use our Rent Now service. With Rent Now, you can secure your space right here on our website and head straight to your unit on moving day. No need to stop by our office - you can rent your space anytime online. Happy renting!

Can I access my storage unit at any time?

Access hours vary by location and are often extended beyond office hours (e.g., 6am - 10pm). Some locations offer 24-hour access. Each unit is secured with your personal lock, and we do not keep a copy of the key. Overdue accounts may face restricted access until dues are cleared.

Why does JustStorage require insurance?

If you already have coverage, please remember to bring a copy of your policy declaration page showing that your belongings are protected in a storage facility.

What items are not allowed in a storage unit?

To ensure the safety of everyone at our facility, please be aware that certain items are not allowed in our storage units. Prohibited items include: flammable substances, hazardous or toxic materials, stolen property, controlled substances, weapons, food or containers that previously held food, and live or deceased organisms.
