Is LongScreenshot free?

The core workflow is free: full-page, selected-area, and visible-area capture, plus PNG, JPG, and paged PDF export. Advanced tools — the annotation editor, screenshot merging, and one-page PDF export — are part of LongScreenshot Pro.

Do I need to create an account to use it?

No. Install the extension and start capturing right away — no sign-up, no configuration. An account is only used to unlock Pro tools later.

What export formats are supported?

PNG, JPG, and PDF. PDF comes in two flavors: a paged A4 PDF that's great for printing and archiving, and a continuous one-page PDF that reads like the original page.

Can I edit a screenshot before saving it?

Yes. The built-in annotation editor lets you crop the capture, blur sensitive areas with mosaic, draw rectangles and arrows, and add text — with undo for every step.

Can I combine multiple screenshots into one file?

Yes. The merge tool queues up to 10 recent captures or local images, lets you reorder them, and exports a single long PNG or one continuous PDF.

How do you handle pages that require login?

LongScreenshot captures the page exactly as you see it in your browser — dashboards, admin panels, and internal tools included. Everything is processed locally; your screenshots are never uploaded.

How long can a page be for capture?

Practically unlimited. A single PNG covers pages up to 16,384 px tall; for anything longer, LongScreenshot automatically switches to multi-slice capture and PDF export, so nothing gets cut off.

Which languages and themes are supported?

The interface is available in English, 简体中文, 日本語, and 한국어, and follows your system's light or dark theme automatically.
