Do you have a waitlist?

Yes, when I have a full caseload I will offer a waitlist. I don't know for certain how long you'll be on the waitlist. I will do my best to give an estimated time, but that is not an agreement. I recommend identifying a set time you'd be willing to wait (a month, two months, etc.) and if you're still on my waitlist consider searching for another therapist.

How long are individual therapy sessions?

Standard individual sessions are typically 50 minutes. Intakes are 90mins.

How do you approach family therapy sessions?

In family therapy, the family system as a whole is considered the client. My goal is to help those participating gain a clearer understanding of the patterns that have not been working, while identifying and strengthening new insights and skills that support greater trust, connection, or acceptance among family members. Like with any therapy there is no promised outcome.

Do you offer a sliding-scale?

Yes, I do offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for clients. Those spots get taken up pretty regularly, but there's no harm in asking me to make certain. Please do! If those spots are filled and my fee is a barrier please let me know. We can work together to adjust the frequency of sessions or I can make suggestion for other counseling services.

I don't know if I'm ready for a full session. Do you offer free consultations?

Searching for a therapist can take months. Finding the right fit for your needs and goals is paramount. That's why I understand wanting to have a test-run. Yes, I do offer free 15-minute consultations via telephone, video, or in-person. In the "Request for services" on the Home page simply identify that you're wanting a 15-minute consultation.
