At 6.1/10, Central Health has a working base to build on - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
What is MAP and MAP Basic?
Get MAP/MAP Basic MAP and MAP Basic are health coverage programs for Travis County residents with low income. They give members access to the health services they need. They are not health insurance programs, and they are not federally funded.

Family Size 200% FPL* 1 $2,660.00 2 $3,607.07 3 $4,554.00 4 $5,500.00 *Based on FY 2026 FPL. Levels are updated annually on March 1.
If I don't qualify for MAP, what other options do I have?
Patients who do not qualify for MAP, MAP Basic, or other assistance programs can receive a medical visit for a lower rate based on income and family size. The sliding fee scale for CommUnityCare Health Centers is determined by applying for health coverage online or in person.
