If we confirm fraud, the business is fully refunded and the held earnings are reversed; if we dismiss the case (or no flag is raised within 14 days), earnings clear automatically.

How do you prevent creators from self-claiming their own gifts?

We layer four pre-conversion checks. We compare the visitor IP against the creator account's recent IPs (same window we use on CPC clicks), compare the buyer email against the creator account email, require email OTP verification on every promo-code checkout, and increment a per-account self-CPA strike counter. At three detected self-CPA attempts the account is automatically blocked, the user is emailed, and a notification is sent to our team. Detected self-claims are recorded as `self_claim` and never billed.
