Can I temporarily suspend my plan?

Mobal Voice Lite SIMs and eSIMs do not support temporary suspension. If you need a service that you can suspend and reactivate, check out our Voice+Data service.

What if I use data?

Voice Lite is designed to be used for voice calling and SMS, not data. But, if you use some data by accident, don't worry! We give you 500MB each month to use for free, so you won't be hit by charges if you use some data by mistake. If you do use more than 500MB in a month, you'll be charged a flat fee of ¥2,500 when we get your usage data from the network (this can be 1-2 months later).

When will I receive my Japanese phone number?

Your phone number will be assigned once your SIM Card has been activated. Once assigned we will send you an email containing your phone number as well as displaying it in your online Mobal MyAccount.

Do I get itemised statements?

All usage charges are fully itemised in your online account, so you always know exactly what you are paying for. Your log-in information will be emailed to you when you activate your service.
