What other equipment will I need in my setup?

Actually, very little. Electronically, the Packburn simply fits between your turntable and your amplifier. Of course, your turntable could be replaced by something that provides an analog signal to the Packburn Audio Noise Suppressor. This could be a tape player, CD player, or another playback device. A power amplifier and speakers complete the package.

Since there are other products out there that claim to reduce recorded noise, then why choose Packburn?

Our company was founded on the desire for crisp, clean sound reproduction, right from the start. The late Dick Burns and I, Tom Packard, enjoyed our vintage record collections. We would try to focus on the musical nuance but with that assault of clicks, pops, and hiss our enjoyment of the music was severely challenged. We really wanted to hear clean and clear sound.
