AI Visibility Scorecard
pdf-encrypt.com · Technology
Borderline visible. AI bots can crawl cloudHQ, but the structured-data signals are thin - you are at real risk of being skipped when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

"Password-protect any PDF in your Google Drive in one click. Choose where encrypted files go (next to the source or in an encrypted subfolder), save your password for next time, and." That is how PDF Encrypt by cloudHQ of San Francisco introduces itself. To AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, though, it is barely visible: it scores 4.9 out of 10.
Our crawl found structured data on the page (SoftwareApplication), an llms.txt file for AI models and a readable heading structure. It is missing a sitemap.

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 4.9/10, cloudHQ is crawlable but under-signaled - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
Why should I encrypt my PDF files?
Three quick reasons:Compliance. HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and most US state breach-notification laws either require or strongly favor encrypting personal data in transit. Several of those statutes treat encrypted data as exempt from breach-notification - so encryption can mean the difference between a private incident and a public disclosure.Resilience to mistakes.
Is PDF Encrypt safe?
Yes. We do not store your documents or your password on our servers - the password lives only inside the encrypted PDF.You can optionally save the password into your own cloudHQ account so it pre-fills the next time you open the wizard.
Where do my encrypted files end up?
Two places at once - it's not an either/or:In your Google Drive. You choose where: either next to the source with a _encrypted.pdf suffix (our default), or inside a separate encrypted subfolder of the source folder. We create the subfolder the first time you use that mode and reuse it on every run after that.On your computer.
Can I save my password so I don't have to retype it every time?
Yes. Tick the Save this password for future use checkbox once and PDF Encrypt remembers it the next time you open the wizard.
Can I encrypt many files at once?
Absolutely. Pick a whole Google Drive folder (or drag a stack of PDFs from your desktop into the wizard) and PDF Encrypt locks every PDF in that batch. Under the hood we run up to ten encryptions in parallel, so a folder of 50 contracts gets done in roughly the time it takes to encrypt 5 sequentially.
