How does PFPMaker work?

PFPMaker uses advanced AI to transform your everyday selfies into studio-quality photos. Simply choose a style, upload 2–10 clear photos of your face, and our AI generates a full gallery of professional photos in your chosen aesthetic.

What kind of photos should I upload for the best results?

Upload 3–5 recent, well-lit photos showing your face clearly from a variety of angles, with different expressions and a consistent appearance (same hairstyle, glasses, facial hair). Avoid photos with heavy filters, sunglasses, hats, group shots, or images that are blurry, dark, or heavily backlit. A simple rule: if a friend can clearly recognise you in the photo, it'll work.

How many usable photos will I get?

We generate a large batch of photos so you have plenty to choose from, most customers find 60–80% are great, with several standout shots. A few may have minor quirks like unusual hand positions or odd background details; that's normal for all AI photo tools today. We generate a large batch specifically so you can pick your favourites and skip the occasional odd one. If you don't walk away with at least one photo good enough to use, we'll give you your money back.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery time depends on your selected package and can be as fast as 10 minutes. You'll receive an email notification as soon as your photos are ready to download.

Will the photos accurately represent me, my skin tone and face?

Yes, with good input photos, the results will look like you in your best light, not an altered version of you. Our AI is designed to preserve your real skin tone, facial structure, and features without applying any "beautification" that changes your ethnicity or reshapes your face. We actively work to prevent the skin-tone issues that have affected other AI tools. If you ever feel your photos don't represent you accurately, contact [email protected] and we'll offer a free redo or full refund.

The photos look amazing, but something feels "off." Is it normal?

Yes, and it's a well-known effect. Selfie cameras distort proportions because they're so close to your face, professional photography (and AI headshots) use focal lengths that show your face as others actually see you, including a more natural nose size and balanced lighting. If it feels unfamiliar, ask a friend whether the photo looks like you, you may be surprised by the answer.

What do you do with my photos, is my data secure?

Your photos are used solely to generate your order, we never sell your data, use your photos to train public AI models, or share them with third parties. All photos are fully encrypted during upload and storage using industry-standard protocols, and are never accessible to other users. Uploaded photos are deleted immediately after your AI model is trained, and all remaining data is automatically deleted within 30 days. You can also request instant deletion at any time by contacting [email protected].

How is this different from free AI tools and ChatGPT?

Free tools, including viral social media apps and general-purpose generators like ChatGPT, weren't built for photorealistic headshots. They often produce an obvious "AI look" (too-smooth skin, generic features, illustration-style output) and many have raised privacy concerns, keeping photos indefinitely or using them to train models. PFPMaker is purpose-built for identity-preserving, professional-quality photos. As a paid service, we don't need to monetise your data, your photos are processed, delivered, and deleted.
