proliferate.com · Technology
Borderline visible. AI bots can crawl Proliferate, but the structured-data signals are thin - you are at real risk of being skipped when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

AEO Score
from our crawl and measurement
Proliferate describes itself simply: "Proliferate runs coding agents in parallel, across isolated workspaces, locally or in the cloud." When AI engines look at it, they find little to work with. It scores 4.8 out of 10.
Our crawl found structured data on the page (Organization, WebSite, SoftwareApplication), a sitemap and a readable heading structure. It is missing an llms.txt file.
AI crawlers have visited once in our tracking, including ClaudeBot (Anthropic).

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 4.8/10, Proliferate is crawlable but under-signaled - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
What is Proliferate?
Proliferate is where you do your best work with agents. It gives you a shared workspace for coding work, task work, tools, artifacts, and long-running execution across local and cloud runtimes.
How do you use Proliferate?
Simple — just a few steps: Download the Proliferate .dmg and drag it to Applications. On first launch it checks Git, GitHub auth, Claude Code, and runtime readiness for you. Add a GitHub repo and configure setup / run scripts, then pick a target: local checkout, a fresh worktree, or a cloud workspace. Open the workspace and spin up agents — chats, terminals, browsers, and git review all live in the same window. You can also start without a repo by opening a Cowork thread and letting an agent plan, research, or draft artifacts before any code gets written.
How is this different from Claude Code, Codex, or Cowork?
Those are great agents — Proliferate is the workspace around them. They each built a polished surface for one or two agents, closed or source-available. Proliferate is the open one that runs all of them, local and cloud, with better parallel work, review, connected tools, and the subscriptions you already use.
Do I need to manage git worktrees myself?
No. Proliferate handles workspace isolation for you. You can spin up isolated worktrees or cloud sandboxes without manually juggling branches and terminals yourself.
Which coding agents do you support?
Proliferate supports the major coding-agent ecosystems and model families you already use, including Claude Code, Codex/OpenAI, Gemini, Cursor, and OpenCode. You can 100% keep your existing subscriptions and re-use them in Proliferate.
How do you use subagents?
Subagents are helpers a parent agent spawns to handle focused parts of a larger task, while staying on the same objective. Spawn reviewers for specific subsystems, or run two in parallel to compare options. They share the workspace with the parent — results come back through the parent's chat.
How do you use planning and code review agents?
Review is a first-class mode with two flavors: plan review (before coding) and code review (against a branch or diff). Pick a reviewer personality — Plan skeptic, Readiness, Correctness, or Integration — or customize your own. Turn on auto-iterate to run review → apply fixes → review again automatically.
How do you use cloud?
A cloud workspace is a remote repo environment with a Proliferate runtime inside — chats, terminals, tests, and review all run there. Hand off between local and cloud by pushing a branch and reopening the workspace on the other side. Branches, diffs, chats, and review history travel together. Credentials sync optionally.
