Does ProPlate support prototype development?
Yes. ProPlate’s New Product Process Development (NPPD) team supports programs from initial concept through process validation and full production scaling. We develop custom plating processes, selective masking methods, and fixturing in-house for each new application. What plating tolerances can ProPlate hold?
ProPlate maintains thickness tolerance control as low as ±5 microinches (±0.000005″). Process temperatures across our 216 plating tanks are held to within ±5°F of setpoint, maintained by 50 heat exchangers running across two 400,000 BTU/hr condensing boiler units.
