What's the difference between web design and web development at Quest?

Most clients use the terms interchangeably, but at Quest they refer to different teams. Web design is the visual, UX, and content layer — live on our web design service page. Web development is the engineering layer: custom code, APIs, databases, integrations, payment flows, and the AI/mobile/software systems sitting behind the website. Most Quest engagements involve both teams; you can hire either independently.

Are you hiring web developers in Kenya or building one project?

Both, though this page is about hiring Quest to build a project — we ship as a team, not as freelancers placed inside your company. Yes — this is what most of our enterprise work is. Why custom code instead of WordPress or a no-code builder?

WordPress and no-code builders are fine for brochure sites with no business logic. They become problems when you need M-Pesa integration that actually works under load, data residency on Kenyan servers, custom workflows your business actually uses, or a backend an AI agent can call.
