What does Scalexa do?

Scalexa builds and fixes software platforms with senior-only engineers and AI-accelerated delivery. We do AI/ML, full-stack development, DevOps, cybersecurity, and blockchain — typically 2-4× faster than traditional consultancies.

Why senior engineers only?

Junior engineers learning on client time is the most common reason platforms ship late or break under load. Every Scalexa engineer has 8+ years production experience. We charge more per hour but deliver faster end-to-end.

How does weekly billing work?

We bill weekly on actual hours worked, not fixed-price fictions. You see a weekly invoice with hours by engineer and what was shipped. If we finish under estimate, you pay less. No padding, no surprise overruns.

What is paid Scoping & Discovery?

Before any build, we run a 1-2 week paid Scoping ($4K-$12K) to define scope, architecture, and risk. We do not do free estimates — those are how projects blow up. Output: a defensible plan you can shop with anyone.

What is the Architecture Assessment ($2K–$15K+)?

A short-form senior engineer review of an existing platform or a planned project. Output: written report with 3-5 prioritised risks, hour estimates, and recommended next steps. Not a full Code Audit (that is $3K-$5K).

What is a Code Audit?

1-2 week senior engineer read of a vibe-coded or legacy platform. Output: what is working, what is load-bearing and broken, remediation SOW with hours. $3K-$5K paid. Then refactor with us, your team, or another vendor — your call.

Do you take fixed-price work?

Rarely, and only after paid Scoping defines exact scope. Our default is hourly billing with weekly transparency — fixed-price fictions hide risk that surfaces as scope fights or quality cuts.
