What Happens During a ScalpCheck®?

Your appointment is private, educational, and focused on helping you understand what may make sense next. Step 1 Private Conversation We talk through what you are experiencing, when it started, what you have tried, and what concerns you most. Step 2 Scalp Measurements We use non-invasive tools to evaluate oil, hydration, pH, and other factors that may affect scalp comfort and balance.

How to Prepare for Your ScalpCheck®?

A few simple preparation steps help us get the most accurate look at your scalp and hair during your evaluation. Do not wash your hair for 48 hours prior to your appointment. Do not wear makeup or moisturizer on your forehead the day of your appointment. Refrain from using excessive styling products, such as hair gel or hair spray, the day of your appointment.

Do You Need ScalpCheck® or a Hair Solution Consultation?

Both appointments are private and supportive, but they are designed for different starting points. Start with ScalpCheck® if… Your scalp feels itchy, oily, flaky, tight, irritated, tender, coated, or out of balance. ScalpCheck® may also be helpful if you are shedding more than usual or noticing early hair changes.

What Happens After ScalpCheck®?

After your evaluation, we combine your story, scalp measurements, microscopic imaging, and hair observations to discuss a realistic next step. That may include professional scalp treatments, at-home scalp care, product or routine changes, follow-up imaging, or guidance toward another appointment type if your needs are better served elsewhere.
