Why visit an Orthodontist rather than my family Dentist?

Dentists care for general oral health – teeth, gums, and check-ups. To become an orthodontist, a dentist must complete at least 3 extra years of full-time specialist training. Orthodontists are specialists in straightening teeth and correcting bites. Only after this can they appear on the General Dental Council’s specialist register as a specialist orthodontist.

Why haven't I heard of this before?

Because it’s a brand-new way of thinking. Our two founders, a specialist orthodontist, and an experienced family dentist with additional experience in orthodontics, observed first-hand how families struggle to balance school, work, and regular orthodontic appointments. Too often, a child’s education suffers, or their confidence and oral health are compromised.

Is School Teeth more expensive than a high street practice?

We use top-quality appliances and innovations while keeping our fees competitive with high street practices.

How does my child register with School Teeth for an assessment or treatment?

Your child can either be registered directly through our website/call-centre, or they can be referred by your local dentist.

Does your team liaise with our family Dentist?

Yes, most certainly. A comprehensive report following assessment or treatment will be shared with your child’s dentist to keep them up-to-date.
