What is Seamless Source?

Seamless Source is a Product Relationship Management (PRM) platform built for product-regulated businesses across PPE & safety, fashion & apparel, toys & children's products, and rugs & home furnishing. It combines PLM, PIM, and Digital Product Passport into one system — so your product records, certifications, technical documents, and regulatory passports all live in one auditable place, updated once and published everywhere.

Is this just a Digital Product Passport tool, or something broader?

Seamless Source combines PLM, PIM, and DPP in one platform. You can start with just DPP — the most immediate regulatory priority — and expand when you need. Many customers find that having product and certification data in one place unlocks the PLM and PIM benefits without any extra migration work. You're not locked into buying the full system upfront.

How is this different from a generic PIM or PLM?

PIM and PLM are components of what we offer — but Seamless Source sits above them as a Product Relationship Management platform, connecting PIM, PLM, DPP, LCA, compliance, and supply chain data into one record per product.

We already have a PIM — why would we add another system?

You don't have to replace your PIM. Seamless Source adds the compliance, certification, and Digital Product Passport layer your current PIM was never designed to handle. Most customers keep their existing PIM and use Seamless Source specifically for technical product data, certification tracking, and regulatory publishing.

Which DPP and ESPR regulations actually apply to our business?

The EU's ESPR regulation introduces mandatory Digital Product Passports across regulated product categories, with PPE and textiles among the priority sectors. Your data is stored on UK-based servers, fully GDPR-compliant, and you own it entirely at all times. If you ever leave, you export everything — product records, certification documents, DPP content, and supplier data — in standard formats. No lock-in, no data held hostage.
