The SetList Program

The SetList Program is a business whose own site puts it this way: "The SetList Program allows you to search through setlists for the Grateful Dead's many shows. It also allows users to comment and share their experiences for each show." When AI engines look at it, they find little to work with. It scores 4.8 out of 10.

On the page it is passable on basic crawler access. What holds it back is a heading structure that lays out what it offers, a clearly stated business identity, sitemaps and entity links AI can follow, structured data describing the business and credibility markers like credentials or reviews.

Off the page, other sites link to it and it comes up on Reddit. There is some, but not much, sign that the domain is only lightly established. Beyond that, AI engines do not yet recognise it as a distinct business, there is no press coverage to draw on and nobody is discussing it where AI engines look. None of that can be fixed on the page: it has to be earned.

AI crawlers have visited once in our tracking, including ClaudeBot (Anthropic). The site links to no social profiles, so there is nothing tying the brand to a wider presence.
