YÉNI comes from the Yoruba name "Omoyéni," which means "a child that fits my heart's desires" or simply "fits the heart's desires." This philosophy is at the heart of our brand — creating candles that resonate with your personal preferences and moments, not following trends.

What are YÉNI candles made from?

Our candles are crafted from a premium blend of natural soy and coconut wax (70% soy, 30% coconut). We use phthalate-free, paraben-free fragrances that are IFRA-certified for safety. Our wicks are lead-free cotton, and our vessels are made from frosted glass that's fully reusable and recyclable.

How long do YÉNI candles burn?

Each 9 oz YÉNI candle provides 50-55 hours of burn time when cared for properly. For the best experience, trim the wick to ¼" before each lighting, allow the wax to melt to the edges on first burn (typically 3-4 hours), and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
