What conditions does Dr. Sobel treat?

Dr. Sobel specializes in non-surgical treatment of back pain, neck pain, sciatica, joint pain, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Common treatments include epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, PRP therapy, and ultrasound-guided joint injections.

Do you accept insurance?

How quickly can I get an appointment?

We often have same week appointments. EMG studies are often times scheduled in the following week. Call 602-385-4160 to schedule.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your insurance card, photo ID, completed new patient forms, any recent imaging studies (MRI, X-rays, CT scans), and a list of current medications. When you make your appointment please let the staff know where your imaging studies were performed. If we can access the studies you will not need to bring them in for your initial consultation. If you have had treatment for your problem before and have your medical records also bring those to the appointment.

How long do appointments take?

An initial consultation can vary between 30-45 minutes depending on the complexity of the problem. EMG studies take upwards of an hour. Injections done in office generally are 15 minutes with PRP injections taking 30 minutes. Spinal injections such as epidurals are done in the office. These injections as well as other spinal injection procedures are performed at a local surgical center.

What is PRP therapy?
