What does a SprayQuantAI measurement system consist of?

An SQA system consists of three main components: an optical measurement probe, an electro-optical unit, measurement and evaluation software. Users can configure and extend these components according to the application. Therefore, SprayQuantAI is suitable for both scientific research and industrial development or monitoring tasks.

What measurement principle does SQA use?

SprayQuantAI uses TSTOF measurement technology, which stands for Time-Shift-Time-of-Flight.

What do the optical measurement probes look like?

ai-quanton develops and manufactures the optical measurement probes in-house. We can adapt the design, measurement geometry, and optical configuration to the customer application. We have already developed different probe solutions with various: working distances, measurement volumes, optical access configurations, probe geometries, laser powers, detector configurations, mechanical interfaces.

What is the function of the electro-optical unit?

The electro-optical unit connects the measurement probe to the data acquisition system and the evaluation software. It contains the optical, electronic, and signal-processing components required to operate the measurement system. Depending on the configuration, the module can also support autonomous operation. Furthermore, users can integrate it into existing test rigs, machines, or process control systems.

What data does SprayQuantAI provide?

SprayQuantAI can provide measurement results through different interfaces. The available outputs depend on the system configuration. These may include: analog output signals, digital measurement values, network communication, statistical spray parameters, time-resolved measurement data, stored light-scattering signals, exportable result files.
