Where should I put my well?

There are three key things to consider for well placement: adequate distance from contaminant sources like septic tanks, access to electricity to run the pump, and ease of access for maintenance. During our site inspection we will help identify the right place to put your new well.

How long does it take to drill a well?

Under typical conditions, it takes 1-3 days to drill a well. This may vary depending on ground conditions, weather, and water depth.

How much water do I need for a well?

A good house well should produce at least 5-10 gallons per minute (GPM). If you have additional needs like irrigation, filling a pool, or other heavy use in addition to typical household use, you may need more.

How much does it cost to drill a well?

There is no fixed amount that a new well costs. We charge by the number of feet drilled, plus the number of feet of casing required to finish the well once drilled. Naturally, shallower wells will be cheaper than deep wells.

Do you guarantee you'll find water?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will hit water when drilling a well. There is simply no way to know for sure given the limits of today's technology.
