How long does a typical sustainability consulting engagement last?

Engagement length varies based on scope. A GHG emissions baseline typically takes 4–8 weeks depending on the complexity of your supply chain and data availability. A CSWA audit or decarbonization roadmap may take 2–4 months. I offer both project-based engagements and ongoing advisory relationships to match your needs.

Do I need to comply with California's SB 253?

SB 253 directly requires companies with more than $1 billion in annual revenue doing business in California to publicly report their Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions. However, even if your business is below that threshold, your largest customers likely are covered — and their Scope 3 reporting requirements mean they'll be requesting emissions data from their suppliers. What is the CSWA certification and who qualifies?

The Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW) program is administered by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA) and certifies wineries and vineyards that meet rigorous environmental and social sustainability standards. Aaron is a CSWA Approved Auditor and can conduct the third-party audit required for certification.
