How do I meet people in real life instead of on dating apps?

The Wild was built for exactly this. It shows you a live map of where your matches physically are right now. Instead of swiping and texting, you go to the venue where your matches already are and meet them face to face. It is the only dating platform built entirely around real-world, in-person connection.

Is The Wild safe? How does the privacy work?

The Wild was built with safety and privacy as the foundation. Users are anonymous by default — matches only see basic info and a pin, not your photo, unless you choose to show it. Your location updates at an interval of your choice, not in real-time. Movement detection automatically pauses your location when you start walking or driving. Privacy areas let you block your visibility near your home, workplace, or any location you choose — the app hides you automatically when you enter those areas, even in the background.

Why is background location required for The Wild?

Background location is required for The Wild to function correctly, but it is only used while you are online in the app. When you go offline, background location is not accessed. This also enables privacy areas to work automatically — if you enter a privacy area while the app is in the background, you are hidden immediately.

Are there dating apps without messaging?
