Talked is an accredited online therapy platform, that is proudly Australian owned and operated. We connect you with qualified psychologists with no wait times, make booking easy, and help you claim your rebates. All from the comfort of your home. All our psychologists are fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have experience in providing online therapy. We have a wide range of psychologists across Australia with different areas of expertise, so you can find the right one for you.

Who are the therapists?

The therapists on Talked are qualified Australian therapists consisting of General Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors and Psychotherapists. Every therapist is vetted and registered with a peak governing body that imposes a strict code of ethics and standards. All our psychologists are fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have experience in providing online therapy. We have a wide range of psychologists across Australia with different areas of expertise, so you can find the right one for you.

How much does it cost?

Sessions range from $150 to $260 depending on the type of therapist. With a Medicare rebate, your out-of-pocket cost can be as low as $114 per 50 minute session. See our pricing page for details.

Can I claim a Medicare rebate?

Yes. Medicare covers up to 10 psychology sessions per year. You'll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan and GP referral to be eligible. If you don't have a referral yet, we'll connect you with our online GP partner after you book your first session. You can also use an existing referral if you have one. We process your Medicare claim after every session, so the rebate goes straight to your bank account. Get started with Medicare

Do I need a referral to use Talked?

No, you don't need a referral to see any of the therapists on Talked. You can find a therapist and book a session today.

Do you offer bulk billing?

We may offer bulk billing in some instances, please contact us to discuss your individual circumstances and see if you are eligible.

How can I get a Mental Health Plan and GP referral?

If you don't already have a GP referral you can book a bulk-billed online GP appointment with our partner GP service to get your referral and mental health plan.

I'm funded by the NDIS, can I use this service?

Yes, if you are a plan managed or self managed NDIS participant you can book a session with any number of our psychologists or counsellors. Get started with NDIS .
