Is Evibe a broker?

No. Evibe is a tracker, not a brokerage. You can't place orders from the app — it's designed to give you a clear, real-time view of what you already own across every account.

Which asset classes can I track?

Seventeen, including stocks, ETFs, crypto, options, bonds, forex, commodities and funds — but also real estate, art, vehicles, startups, loans, jewelry and other hard assets, all valued in your portfolio currency.

How does real-time work?

Evibe streams live quotes from leading market data providers and pushes updates to every device the moment they arrive — phones, Macs, widgets and macOS Bars stay in lockstep.

Where are my data stored?

In our EU-hosted cloud, fully anonymized and encrypted. Your email is handled exclusively by Firebase Authentication — we never see it on our side. iCloud handles real-time sync across your Apple devices on top.

Does Evibe connect to my broker automatically?

Not yet. Transactions are added manually or imported via CSV with a dry-run validator. Open-banking-style auto-import is on the roadmap, but we'd rather get the data model right first.

Is there a web or Android version?

Evibe is Apple-only on purpose — native iOS and macOS apps, with deep system integration (widgets, Bars, deep links). No Catalyst, no web, no Android. We'd rather do one platform exceptionally well.

What are macOS Bars?

A Mac-exclusive feature: thin, always-on-top floating bars that show live quotes for your symbols, options, currencies or whole portfolios. Configurable per-bar — position, colors, indicators — so you can keep an eye on the markets without leaving your work.

Does it really handle multiple currencies properly?

Yes. Each portfolio has its own reference currency, and historical FX rates are applied to your cost basis on the date of every transaction. We track 70+ currency pairs continuously.
