What is Talo?

Talo is a platform designed for game developers to simplify integrating features like leaderboards, player stats, event tracking and more. Talo has a dashboard, Godot plugin, Unity package and API, so you don’t need to build or manage your own infrastructure.

Is Talo free to use?

Yes! Talo is free to use while your games have less than 10,000 players. Talo provides email notifications and an extra 5% buffer so your game continues running smoothly if you go over the free tier limit. You can also choose to automatically delete inactive player accounts inside the dashboard.

What is the Talo Dashboard?

The Talo Dashboard is a web platform that provides an easy way to interact with and visualise your game’s data.

How do I integrate Talo with my game?

You can integrate Talo through our Godot plugin or Unity package. Setup is quick and easy, and our docs will guide you through the process. A REST API is also available for custom integrations.

Do I need to host my own infrastructure with Talo?

No, Talo handles all the hosting and infrastructure. You focus on building your game, and we take care of the backend.

How does Talo handle player authentication?

Talo offers a fully managed, secure system for registering players, verifying logins, and managing account details, so you don’t have to worry about building your own authentication system.

Is Talo open-source?

Yes, Talo is open-source. Both our code (available on GitHub) and Docker images are publicly available. We use the MIT license, so you can use Talo for free, even for commercial projects.

Can I export my game’s data?

Absolutely! Your game’s data fully belongs to you and Talo lets you export every part of it. Simply request an export and we’ll email you the file when it’s ready.
