What this score means

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 6.8/10, UX Army has a working base to build on - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to identify the right participants in research?

Invite your own users, or tap into our managed participant panel with flexible targeting. In both cases, you can use an in-test screener to only have participants who meet your selection criteria take the test.

Can I target participants from your user panel?

Absolutely. Before launching the test, you can select the demographic criteria and add in-test screeners to collect feedback from only the testers that meet your behavioral selection criteria. Those who don’t pass the screener will not see your test or assets.

How to determine the right number of participants for usability studies?

A general rule of thumb is that 5 to 7 participants are a commonly recommended sample size for usability testing. However, it is also important to understand that a larger number of participants may be required depending on the research method and the type of data you’re looking to gather.

How do you detect fraud?

We have an internal process by which we identify and remove blacklisted participants. Screen & audio recording is an additional layer of scrutiny which you yourself can use to see how sincere the tester was.

Can I use your panel for user interview?

We provide participants for unmoderated and moderated research, but participants for moderated research are via recruitment services as we apply additional validation for quality.

Can I use my own participants or participants from a third party user panel company on UXArmy?

Yes. UXArmy platform will generate a unique invite link that you can share with your self-sourced participants. You also can utilize ‘Redirect-url’ to send your participants to specific destinations at the end of the test, and add dynamic parameters to collect personal identifiers like user ID, email, country.
