Borderline visible. AI bots can crawl UX Design Mastery, but the structured-data signals are thin - you are at real risk of being skipped when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

"So I decided to compile 5 UX Design tools that are actually free wireframing tools […] Read more Featured, Getting started in UX Are you too old to become a UX designer if you are in your." That is how UX Design Mastery introduces itself. To AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, though, it is barely visible: it scores 4.7 out of 10.
On the page itself the strengths are clear: a clear heading structure and sitemaps and entity links AI can follow. It is passable on basic crawler access. What holds it back is a clearly stated business identity, credibility markers like credentials or reviews and structured data describing the business.
Away from its own site, other sites link to it. There is some, but not much, sign that the domain is only lightly established and it barely surfaces on Reddit. Beyond that, AI engines do not yet recognise it as a distinct business, there is no press coverage to draw on and nobody is discussing it where AI engines look. Those are earned elsewhere on the web, not fixed on the site itself.
AI crawlers have visited once in our tracking, including ClaudeBot (Anthropic). It does link out to several social profiles, which helps engines tie the brand together.

Are you too old to become a UX designer if you are in your 30s, 40s, or even over 50?
The short answer is no. You are never too old to make a career change. The real issue has nothing to do with age.
