What is VDFR?

VDFR is a free online video downloader. You paste a link to a post and it gives you the video to save, with no app to install and no account.

Is VDFR free to use?

Yes. It is free, and there is no cap on how many videos you can download.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign up. You only need the link to the post you want to save.

Can I download private videos?

No. VDFR only works with public posts. We do not ask you to log in, so anything behind a private account stays private.

Where do downloaded videos go?

On a phone they usually land in your Downloads folder or photo gallery. On a computer they go wherever your browser saves files.

Do you keep the videos I download?

No. We do not host or store videos. VDFR fetches the file from the platform at the moment you ask for it, and nothing is kept afterward.

Why will my video not download?

Usually the post is private, or it was deleted, or the link is incomplete. Copy the link again from the share menu and try once more.

Is there a VDFR app?

Yes. VDFR is on the Play Store and the App Store. The app lets you share a post straight into it, so you skip the copy and paste.
