Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 5.3/10, Common has a working base to build on - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
What is Common?
Common is a clothing recirculation organisation working to keep quality garments in use while increasing access to clothing within our communities. Since 2019, we have helped recirculate more than 68,000 garments through partnerships with social service organisations, community groups and resale channels.
Can brands or retailers donate excess stock?
Absolutely. We work with brands and retailers to recirculate excess inventory, samples and returns through community distribution and resale channels.
What condition should items be in?
In quality and wearable condition. Please consider the dignity of those you are donating to. We would never provide clothing to others that we would not wear ourselves.
Why is the wardrobe clear out kit $46.50?
This service covers the costs involved in receiving and recirculating your garments. This includes a $35 return shipping fee with Australia post and $11.50 contributes to quality inspection, inventory management, and preparing garments for redistribution. Where required, we carry out repairs to extend the life of garments before redistribution or resale.
What happens to donated clothing?
Garments are distributed through our social service partners or sold, with proceeds supporting our mission of keeping clothing in use and increasing access to clothing in our communities.
